Itty Bitty Noah

Caedmon likes to say that little guys can do big things too, and I have no doubt that Noah will live up to that saying. When he was a newborn I thought that he was such an easygoing, mellow baby. I tried to make sure that I held him enough and gave him attention because he rarely protested or demanded anything. Around six months it seemed as if he suddenly woke up, realizing that he could influence his surroundings. We now have no doubt as to what he needs or wants as he lets us know in no uncertain terms and is not easily distracted from his object of desire. He also is very adamant about what he does not like: sleeping, people not sharing their food, and having dangerous things taken away from him. He doesn't let his small size stand in the way of doing anything. He simply watches what his brother does and tries to do the same. Currently he is trying to cruise on furniture. Undeterred by the multitude of crashes, he simply gets up and tries again. He is so friendly to strangers that people often comment on what a sweet, happy baby he is. He laughs easily and is very socially aware, playing games such as peek-a-boo, get mommy/bubba/daddy, and even tries to make his own silly faces. I can't wait to see more of his personality develop, even though I know that his adventurous and determined spirit will always keep me on my toes.
